Wasim Elburawi is a Co-Owner and Board Member of United International Group. A Minister Plenipotentiary by rank, he formerly headed the International Organizations Department at the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and previously served as a Political and Diplomatic Relations Advisor at the Libyan Prime Minister's Council. His career spans cross-border partnership building across the EU, the United States, and the wider MENA region, with a particular focus on aligning institutional capital with sovereign and ministerial counterparties.

H.E. Ahmed El-Sherif brings over 35 years of diplomatic and economic leadership to United International Group. Formerly a Plenipotentiary Envoy to the United States and the European Union, he has navigated the most complex geopolitical transformations of the last three decades. His career spans senior ministerial advisory roles, where he architected national investment policies and steered multi-billion dollar infrastructure mandates. An alumnus of the London School of Economics, His Excellency has earned a reputation for discretion and a singular ability to facilitate access where others find barriers.

Marcus von Berg is a veteran institutional investor with a focus on sovereign wealth and cross-border capital deployment. With over 20 years of experience at Tier-1 investment banks in Zurich and London, Marcus has orchestrated large-scale JV structures and energy infrastructure financings. He holds a CFA charter and an MBA from INSEAD. At UIG, he oversees the firm's strategic capital introductions and provides bespoke advisory to sovereign investment authorities seeking exposure in North African energy and European infrastructure.

Elena Rossi leads the firm's strategic facilitation and regulatory navigation practice. Prior to joining UIG, she served as a Senior Advisor within the European Commission, focusing on Mediterranean trade policy and energy transition frameworks. Her expertise lies in aligning private sector operational goals with governmental regulatory requirements. Elena holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS and has successfully steered over $1.2B in institutional mandates through complex regulatory landscapes across the EU corridor.

David Alon coordinates UIG’s global network development, focusing on the GCC and North American markets. With a background in private equity and strategic communications, David excels at bridging the gap between frontier market opportunities and institutional capital expectations. He has spent over a decade operating in emerging markets, identifying non-public opportunities that require high-trust introductions. David is a graduate of Georgetown University and maintains deep relationships with family offices and sovereign wealth platforms globally.
